A copyright agent typically charges $300 to file your copyright application.

The government copyright application fee is the same whether you are filing an application for either:

• An application for Registration of a Copyright in a Work
  or an
• Application for Registration of a Copyright in a Performer’s Performance, Sound Recording or Communication Signal
